TASC (The Association of Settlement Companies)

Professional Debt Consultants is an active member of TASC. The Association of Settlement Companies is the industry’s only association governing debt settlement companies. We are regulated and audited by TASC. We operate by all of TASC’s bylaws. We demonstrate the business practices and standards required by TASC to retain their active membership. TASC’s goals are to promote good practice in the debt settlement industry and protect the interests of consumer debtors. There are thousands of debt settlement companies. There are only 157 members of TASC. Our negotiators are 1 of only 11 accredited members of TASC.

IAPDA (International Association of Professional Debt Arbitrators)

Professional Debt Consultants is an active member of the IAPDA and retains “Certified Debt Arbitrators” in their negotiations. The IAPDA requires adherence to their code of ethics by all those it recognizes and certifies as members. The IAPDA seeks to differentiate their members and to provide some guarantees to users and all businesses that, as a group of professionals representing debt settlement, we are committed to their code of ethics and to maintaining the highest standards of professional conduct.

BBB (Better Business Bureau)

Professional Debt Consultants is a B+ rated company with the Southeast Florida division of The Better Business Bureau. B+ is a very high rating. The rating the Better Business Bureau assigns a business is determined by a composite score of such factors as the type of business, length of time in business, compliance with licensing requirements, complaint volume, complaint history, seriousness of complaints, how the company responds to complaints, and their experience with the company’s industry in general. The scoring system takes into account the importance they feel each factor is to the company’s reliability.
